PSDmate connects to Midjourney in two ways. The PSDmate Discord bot watches for Midjourney results that mention your linked Discord account, captures the image, renders it into your PSD mockups and creates an Etsy draft, then messages you with the result. The PSDmate Capture Chrome extension saves images to PSDmate from the web, stages your Midjourney creations, and can submit prompts you queued in PSDmate into Midjourney's prompt box. Both keep the prompt with the image, so the listing copy knows what the artwork is.
What it does
Discord bot capture
Midjourney results that mention you are captured automatically. Settings let you capture only upscaled images, or split a 4-up grid into four separate drafts.
Straight to an Etsy draft
A captured image is rendered into your mockups and published to your connected Etsy shop as a draft, and the bot tells you when it lands.
PSDmate Capture extension
Right-click any image to save it to PSDmate, auto-stage Midjourney creations, and send prompts you queued in PSDmate to Midjourney.
How to connect it
- Link your Discord account from Connected apps in PSDmate (or use /link in Discord).
- Run Midjourney in a Discord server the PSDmate bot is in; /status checks your account is ready.
- For the browser route, install PSDmate Capture from the Chrome Web Store and paste a PSDmate API key from Settings → API keys into its options.
What it does not do
PSDmate does not generate Midjourney images or use your Midjourney account itself — you run Midjourney as usual, and PSDmate picks up the results. The bot only sees servers it has been added to.
Questions
Does PSDmate need my Midjourney login?
No. You use Midjourney normally; the Discord bot reads results that mention your linked account, and the extension works in your own browser.
Can I stop it creating drafts automatically?
Yes. The bot's settings control what it captures, and /notifications controls when it messages you.
