PSDmate includes accounting built for Etsy print-on-demand shops: it imports every Etsy fee from your payment ledger, pulls print and shipping costs from your POD supplier, records your own expenses including recurring subscriptions and ad spend, and reports monthly profit and loss. The problem this solves
Etsy shows you revenue. It does not show you profit. Between listing fees, transaction fees, payment processing, offsite ads, print costs, shipping and the subscriptions you pay to run the shop, the number that lands in your bank bears no relation to the number on your dashboard — and by the time you work it out at year end, you have been selling a loss-making design for eight months.

Etsy fee import
Reads your Etsy payment ledger and posts every fee as a categorised, tax-deductible expense. Listing, renewal, transaction, processing, offsite ads and label costs each land under their own category. Idempotent, so re-running never doubles a fee.
POD cost import
Pulls print and shipping cost per order from PrintShrimp and posts them against the month they were incurred, so cost of goods sits beside the revenue it produced.
Recurring costs
Record a subscription or ad budget once and it appears in every month, including the months already gone. Change the amount and past months keep what you actually paid, so a spend increase shows as a real step in the chart rather than rewriting history.
Monthly P&L
Revenue, expenses and profit by month, with per-category breakdown and a running view of which months were genuinely profitable.
Tax reporting
Tax-year filtering, deductible flags per expense, and a single accountant-ready CSV covering both revenue and costs.

Questions
Does it connect to my Etsy shop automatically?
Yes. Once you connect Etsy over the official API, fees are imported from your payment ledger and sales are synced daily. You do not upload a CSV.
Does it replace an accountant?
No, and it should not. It gives your accountant a clean, categorised export instead of a shoebox. What is deductible and how you file remains a question for a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
Can I track costs that are not from Etsy or my POD supplier?
Yes. Add any expense manually, or set it up as a recurring cost — design software, ad spend, a subscription — and it is counted in every month automatically.
What happens if I cancel a subscription I was tracking?
Cancelling stops it from being counted in future months and leaves every past month untouched, because that money really was spent.
Does it handle VAT?
It records what you were charged and flags deductible expenses. It does not file VAT returns or calculate your VAT position — that is your accountant's job.
