What makes a hoodie mockup convert
The pocket seam
A kangaroo pocket sits right where a chest print ends. Templates that ignore it produce artwork floating over a seam that would physically distort in print.
Fabric weight
Hoodie fleece is thicker than jersey, so ink sits higher and softer. A displacement map tuned for t-shirts makes a hoodie print look painted on.
Hood shadow
The hood throws a shadow across the upper chest. If the template has no shadow layer above the Smart Object, the design will glow unnaturally at the top.
Drawcord overlap
Cords cross the print area on most front-facing shots. They must sit above the artwork layer, not below it.
