PSDmate connects to Google Drive so you can import PSD mockup templates straight from your own folders, including private ones, without downloading and re-uploading them. You pick the files in PSDmate; the transfer runs on PSDmate's render server rather than in your browser, so large PSDs — up to 500 MB each — import without tying up your connection. Access is granted through Google's own sign-in and can be revoked from your Google account at any time.
What it does
Import from private folders
Browse and pick PSDs from your own Drive once it is connected, not only files shared by link.
Large files handled server-side
Each file is copied by PSDmate's server, so a 400 MB PSD does not have to pass through your browser.
Checked before it starts
Files are checked against size and storage limits before the import begins, so a batch does not fail halfway.
How to connect it
- Open Connected apps in PSDmate and press Connect on the Google Drive card.
- Approve access in Google's sign-in window.
- When adding mockup templates on the Frames page, choose Google Drive and pick your PSDs; they appear in your library once imported.
What it does not do
Google Drive is used for importing into PSDmate. PSDmate does not write files back to your Drive.
Questions
How big can the PSDs be?
Up to 500 MB per file.
Can PSDmate see my whole Drive?
You choose the files to import; PSDmate uses the access you grant to fetch them, and you can revoke it from your Google account settings.
