Etsy charges for every listing you publish. Right now you can skip that charge on a lot of them: two promotion codes on Etsy's own promotions page add up to 540 free listing credits.

How to claim them
- Sign in to the Etsy account that owns your shop. The credits attach to the account, not the browser.
- Open etsy.com/uk/promotions.
- Enter 1515 and claim it.
- Enter 4040 and claim it.
- Check Shop Manager → Listings. Your credit balance shows there, and new listings draw from it before you are charged.
If you see "Please enter a valid promotion code", that code is no longer running or your account is not eligible for it. Etsy will not tell you which.
What 540 free listings are worth
The standard fee is $0.20 per listing, and the UK promotions page quotes it as £0.15. So 540 credits are worth:
- $108 at $0.20
- £81 at £0.15

The catch: the fee is the cheap part
For most sellers the listing fee is not what stops them posting 540 listings. The work is. Each listing needs:
- mockup photos, up to 10 of them
- a title that reads well in the 50 or so characters a buyer actually sees
- 13 tags
- a description
- a price and variations
At fifteen minutes a listing, 540 listings take 135 hours. Credits that never get used are worth nothing, so plan the output before you claim.
Three ways to turn the credits into real listings:
- Start from designs you already have. Colourways, sizes and bundles of existing designs are the fastest listings you can make, as long as each one is a real product and not a near-duplicate. See listing cannibalisation for where that line is.
- Batch the mockups. Making mockups one at a time in Photoshop is where most of those 135 hours go. A bulk mockup tool renders every design into every frame in one run.
- Write titles against the visible cut-off. The Etsy title grader shows where your title gets truncated in search, so each listing's first 50 characters count.
How many listings should you actually post?
More listings do mean more places to be found, but only up to the point where they stop being distinct products. How many Etsy listings you need walks through the numbers. The short version: 540 free credits is a reason to fill gaps in your range, not to post the same design 30 times.
Remember the four-month clock
Every Etsy listing runs for four months. Listings made with free credits renew at the normal fee after that, unless you still have credits left. If you publish all 540 in one week, they all come up for renewal in the same week four months later. Spreading them out spreads that bill.
